Terms of Use

1. The App

PatternEcho is a personal mood-tracking application. It lets you log daily check-ins (mood, activities, notes, and optional medication tracking) and view Sage, an informational pattern-summary feature. PatternEcho is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the App. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Subscriptions

• Activity logging and your private timeline are free. Sage's deeper pattern analysis and related features require a PatternEcho Pro subscription.
• Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly plan, an auto-renewing annual plan, or a one-time Founding Lifetime purchase (limited to the first 50 verified purchases at the founding price; availability is confirmed by our purchase server at checkout).
• Subscription payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's App Store account settings. PatternEcho does not process cancellations directly.
• Prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may change with notice; changes do not affect an already-completed Founding Lifetime purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, reverse-engineer it beyond what applicable law permits, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Sage and informational content

Sage's summaries are generated from the check-in data you provide and are intended as informational pattern observations only. They are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about any medical or mental health concern. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

6. Your content

You own the check-in data, notes, and other content you enter into the App. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the App and generate Sage's summaries for you. You can delete your content and account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Sage's pattern summaries will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PatternEcho will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

11. Third-party terms (Apple)

Your use of the App is also subject to the usage rules set out in Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
